Comac consolidate their position in China
Start of an important business partnership with Beijing Cabao Cleaning Equipment Co., Ltd. and growth of the Comac production facility in Shanghai
Starting from the 1st of January, 2008 Comac S.p.A., worldwide market leader for professional cleaning equipment, consolidate their position in the Chinese market thanks to a new business partnership with Beijing Cabao Cleaning Equipment Co., Ltd. Beijing Cabao, with offices, showrooms and service centres in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing and a dealer network covering all the country, will be the sole importer of the prestigious Italian brand for China. Beijing Cabao will offer in China, that is preparing to host the Olympic Games this year, the exclusive Comac product range, created to meet any cleaning need, also in the most populated country in the world. Comac produces excellent quality equipment, powerful and safe scrubber dryers, sweepers, commercial and industrial vacuum cleaners and main cable and battery operated single disc machines. Beijing Cabao has been successfully promoting, distributing and servicing professional cleaning equipment since 1996. They are known in the market as reliable partners and excellent service providers. In 2008 they will also open an office, showroom and service centre in Chengdu. For Comac Chairman Mr. G.C. Ruffo the cooperation with this important Chinese partner is strategic and a confirmation of Comac’s mission to develop the immense business potential of the Chinese market. A first step into this direction was set in January 2007 with the opening of the first Comac Chinese production facility in Shanghai, symbol of the fast growing Chinese economy. At the moment Comac Shanghai successfully produces two walk behind battery operated scrubber dryers models, Abila 17B and Abila 20B. In the short term, thanks to further consistent investments, the production capacity will be increased with other models, namely main cable operated walk behind scrubber dryers Abila 17E and Abila 20E and battery operated walk behind scrubber dryers with or without traction Simpla 50B and 50BT. This dynamic and highly reliable and high performing equipment designed to meet the hygiene standards of the Chinese market and the Chinese people, that are more and more emerging in our global business world. Thanks to the business partnership with Beijing Cabao and to the increased production capacity of Comac Shanghai, Comac Chairman Mr. Ruffo can look with optimism to the future of the business in China, confident that Comac will be solid and competitive enough to face the challenges of the Chinese market.
